Admissions to Bachelors in Luxury Brand & Retail Management  by The School of Luxury Retail requires a mandatory entrance test.

We are accepting test scores from following exams:
– HBSU-CET
– SAT
– NPAT
– MH-CET

TSOLR-CET

1. Introduction
The TSOLR-CET is an internal examination used by The School of Luxury Retail to determine the fitment of potential applicants with the BSc in Luxury Brand and Management programme.

2.Eligibility Criteria for Appearing TSOLR-CET 2024

  • Passed 10 + 2 (HSC) or its equivalent examination from any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce etc.)
  • Candidates appearing for 10 + 2 (HSC) or its equivalent examination are also eligible to appear for HBSU- CET

3.Exam details

  • TSOLR-CET is a pen and paper based test. The test will be conducted offline as at designated centre.
  • TSOLR-CET is 100 marks paper which comprises of 50 Multiple Choice based questions of 2 marks each. There is no negative marking. The syllabus includes questions about Management, General knowledge & Luxury Retail Questions.
  • Total time for TSOLR-CET is 60 mins.

HBSU - CET - Dr. Homi Bhabha State University Common Entrance Test

1. Introduction Dr. Homi Bhabha State University, Mumbai will be conducting common entrance test for various professional first-year undergraduate degree courses. This step is taken to streamline the admission process to ensure fairness and transparency in selecting candidates for these courses.

2. Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics
As per the Homi Bhabha State University, Mumbai letter Reg./HBSU/2023-24/435 dated 18/04/2024,HBSU – CET will be applicable for students applying for undergraduate programs in Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics from Academic year 2024-25 for following programs:

– BS (Luxury Brand and Retail Management)
– BS (Business Management) (earlier known as BMS)
– BS (Sports Management) (earlier known as BSM)
– BS (Banking and Financial Analytics) (earlier known as BBA- Banking & Fin. Analytics)

3. Eligibility Criteria for Appearing HBSU-CET 2024
• Passed 10 + 2 (HSC) or its equivalent examination from any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce etc.)

8. Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct/ use of unfair means:
Candidates are strongly advised not to provide false, altered, or fabricated information and should disclose all relevant details while submitting their online application form. During the examination or subsequent admission procedures, if a candidate is found to have engaged in any of the following:

  1. Using unfair methods
  2. Impersonating or arranging for someone else to impersonate them
  3. Misconduct during online examination, sharing, reproducing, or facilitating the transmission and storage of test content or information
  4. Gaining support for their candidacy through unfair means
  5. Keeping multiple mobile phones or similar electronic communication devices during online test
  6. Any unfair movement of the candidate during online test

Such candidates may not only face criminal prosecution but also risk disqualification from the examination they are participating in.

9. General Instructions
It is acknowledged that unforeseen issues may arise during the administration of the examination, potentially affecting test delivery and result generation. In such cases, every effort will be made to address the problem, which may involve online test delays. However, the decision to conduct a re-examination lies solely with Dr. Homi Bhabha State University, Mumbai and candidates cannot demand a re-test. Candidates unwilling to comply with delayed test procedures will be rejected from the process.

Dr. Homi Bhabha State University’s decisions regarding the administration of the HBSU- CET are final and binding, with no room for correspondence or personal inquiries.
Dr. Homi Bhabha State University, Mumbai, reserves the right to analyze candidate responses for similarities and, if deemed necessary, disqualify candidates suspected of sharing answers or obtaining invalid scores. Disqualified candidates will have nullified results. Any instances of providing false information or violating the admission process will result in the disqualification of the candidate from the entire admission process.
